Partnerships &Events Manager

Do you believe in nurturing relationships and going above and beyond for good people? Because that’s how we feel, and it’s required for this role.
We are looking for someone who has experience with running events that are all about connecting people.
This means you will be responsible for sourcing venues and maintaining relationships with the regular venues, catering for the events, managing the AV requirements and ensuring that the guests are all looked after.
Likewise, this role will be responsible for maintaining the relationships with partners that we have, and reaching out to new partners who can be a great fit for our entrepreneurs.
At the start, while we’re growing, there will be a crossover between this role and the community manager role. So, the events & partnerships role will also be very present in the online community platform.
Responsibilities
– Managing the events calendar
– Liaising with venues, suppliers, speakers etc., to ensure events run smoothly
– Working alongside marketing team to get events sold out
– Ensuring members are looked after
– Helping to connect like-minded members
– Keeping the chat channels active and encouraging members to participate
