The launch event was EPIC!
It’s exactly how we envisaged N0BS 2.0 being – GREAT people in the room, being real, having genuine conversations and making quality new connections.
It did NOT feel like a networking event and that was by design.
We believe networking has been done wrong for years. It’s stuffy, performative and transactional.
Most of the time, it’s someone giving a prepared elevator pitch, showing off about how great they are and handing you a business card. There’s now the adding on LinkedIn so that they can DM you their sales pitch there.
It’s just not what anyone wants.
We know that everyone wants more business – we’re not denying that. But there are ways of going about it.
You don’t need to sell to actually sell. Most of the time, people buy from people. It’s not about their credentials and perfectly-crafted presentation. If they know, like and trust you, then business will be done.
That’s what N0BS 2.0 is all about. Building those genuine connections.
The evening was wonderful – Bluebird Private Members club were the perfect host, with incredible food, free-flowing drinks and a stunning venue. Plus, Hummingbird Bakery’s signature rainbow cake was incredibly popular!
After a short presentation about what the new N0BS looks like – book clubs with authors, a full wellness schedule, MBA workshops and coworking days, people instantly wanted to sign up!
We could not believe the reception and how keen people are to be part of this exclusive community.
We’re still being very selective of who we have as members so that we do not compromise on quality. But this launch showed that there are people out there who really want to be part of a network like that – where it’s all about the quality, the connections, the learning and growing a business in a sustainable way.
If you wanted to be part of the event but couldn’t make it – I’m sorry, you missed a good one!
