The short version
These terms set out what you agree to when you pay for an N0BS membership. Please read them in full before paying. In summary:
- Your membership includes the benefits described in section 3 for your membership type. Anything not described there is not included unless N0BS has agreed it in writing.
- Fees are non-refundable once the 14-day cooling-off period has ended. Annual fees are paid upfront at a reduced rate and are not refunded, in whole or in part, for any reason, including where membership is ended for misconduct. Quarterly fees are not refunded for any part of a quarter.
- Events are not guaranteed in number, frequency or format, and may occasionally be rescheduled or cancelled (section 3.3).
- Founding members receive 25% off for their first two years, and no new member will be offered a bigger discount on the same membership (section 5).
- Members must meet the member standards in section 7. Gross misconduct, including dishonesty, scheming, collusion and extortion, ends membership immediately with no refund. Other misconduct is subject to review (section 8).
- N0BS makes the final decision on membership and conduct matters, following the process in section 8.
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms form the agreement between you and N0BS Group Ltd, trading as N0BS (“N0BS”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15273154, whose registered office is at 7 Bell Yard, London, England, WC2A 2JR.
1.2 These terms apply to every N0BS membership: Inner Circle and Friends, including Friends at the Out-of-Towner rate. These terms are linked from our membership payment page. By completing payment, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to be bound by them.
1.3 These terms, together with the benefits described in section 3 for your membership type and the price shown on the payment page, form the entire agreement between you and N0BS. No statement, representation or arrangement made orally, at an event or in correspondence forms part of your membership unless N0BS has confirmed it to you in writing.
1.4 Where we talk about “members”, we mean anyone holding an active, paid N0BS membership. “Events” means anything N0BS organises for members, in person or online. “Circle” means our members’ platform at community.n0bs.com.
1.5 If you’re joining on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms for it. Membership is personal to you either way: it can’t be shared, transferred or used by anyone else.
2. Applying and acceptance
2.1 Membership is by application only. Everyone is vetted, including people referred by existing members or people we already know.
2.2 Applying doesn’t guarantee a place. We decide who is offered membership, and we don’t have to give reasons for a decision.
2.3 Your membership starts on the date we confirm your payment has been received (your “start date”), and runs for the quarter or year you’ve paid for.
2.4 You confirm that what you’ve told us in your application, on your intro call and since is true and not misleading. If we later find that it wasn’t, section 8 applies.
3. What your membership includes, and what it doesn’t
3.1 The benefits below describe what N0BS aims to provide for each membership type. Individual benefits depend on availability, relevance and timing, and are not guaranteed except where these terms say so. Anything not described in this section is not included in your membership unless N0BS has agreed it in writing.
Inner Circle
- Regular N0BS events included at no additional charge, such as dinners, workshops, Book Clubs and wellness classes. Retreats and selected special events are charged separately and will be identified as such when announced. Some events have limited places.
- Four Strategy Days a year with Sabrina Chevannes-Denman, usually delivered quarterly (see 3.4).
- Introductions to podcast hosts in our network, to relevant people and to PR opportunities, where they arise and where relevant.
- A hard copy of each book covered at N0BS Book Club.
- Welcome merchandise.
- Priority access and first refusal on limited-place experiences, including retreats.
- The partner benefits available to Inner Circle members, as listed on Circle.
- £700 off retreats.
Friends (including the Out-of-Towner rate)
- Access to the N0BS network.
- N0BS events on a pay-as-you-go basis, at member prices.
- Members-only co-working days, which we aim to run monthly.
- The partner benefits available to Friends members, as listed on Circle.
- £300 off retreats.
3.2 Out-of-Towner rate. The Out-of-Towner rate is the Friends membership at a reduced price for members based more than 75 minutes from London. It carries the same benefits as Friends. If you move within 75 minutes of London, your membership will move to the standard Friends rate at your next renewal.
3.3 Events. N0BS does not guarantee a minimum number, frequency, type or schedule of events. Events depend on speakers, partners and venues, and N0BS may need to change, postpone or cancel an event, including at short notice where a speaker withdraws. Where an event is cancelled, we will reschedule it where we reasonably can. The cancellation or rescheduling of an event included in your membership does not entitle you to a refund or a reduction in your fees. Where you have paid separately for a ticket to an event that N0BS cancels, we will transfer your ticket to the rescheduled date or, if the event is not rescheduled or you cannot attend the new date, refund the ticket price.
3.4 Strategy Days. Inner Circle annual members are entitled to up to four Strategy Days per membership year, and quarterly members to one per paid quarter. They are usually delivered quarterly, but timing depends on mutual availability and N0BS is not responsible for a Strategy Day falling outside a particular quarter. You are responsible for booking your Strategy Days, and N0BS will offer reasonable availability. Strategy Days not booked or attended within your membership year (or paid quarter) do not roll over and are not refundable, unless N0BS agrees otherwise in writing at its discretion.
3.5 What isn’t included. For the avoidance of doubt, no membership includes or guarantees:
- PR coverage, media features, podcast appearances or coverage in any particular outlet. Whether an introduction or opportunity results in coverage is a matter for the outlet or host.
- A set number of introductions, or introductions to particular people.
- Leads, clients, sales, investment, awards or any other commercial outcome.
- A minimum number or frequency of events.
- Done-for-you services of any kind, including strategy, marketing, PR, recruitment or advice beyond what is described in 3.1.
- Unlimited or on-demand access to Sabrina Chevannes-Denman or the N0BS team.
- Services from N0BS Agency or any other N0BS brand, which are separate and charged separately.
3.6 Partner benefits are provided by our partners, not by N0BS. Partners may change or withdraw their offers at any time, and we will update the list on Circle when they do. A change to a partner offer does not affect your membership fee.
3.7 Changes to benefits. The current Inner Circle benefits are founding-period benefits and are expected to change as the club grows. N0BS may change the benefits or price of any membership type for future membership terms, and will give you at least 30 days’ notice before your renewal so that you can decide whether to renew.
4. Fees and billing
4.1 Current membership fees (excluding VAT):
| Membership | Annual, paid upfront | Quarterly |
|---|---|---|
| Inner Circle | £4,500 | £1,295 |
| Friends | £595 | Not available |
| Friends, Out-of-Towner rate | £195 | Not available |
All fees exclude VAT, which is charged in addition at the applicable rate.
4.2 Inner Circle may be paid annually or quarterly. Friends is available on an annual basis only. Annual Inner Circle membership costs less overall than four quarterly payments, and in return annual fees are non-refundable as set out in section 6.
4.3 Fees are paid in advance, at the start of each quarter or year. If a payment fails, we’ll let you know and give you 14 days to pay. If it’s still unpaid after that, we may pause your access until it’s paid, or end your membership.
4.4 Your membership renews automatically at the end of each quarter or year, using the payment method you joined with, unless you cancel before your renewal date. We will remind you at least 14 days before each renewal, including any change to the price.
4.5 Event tickets, retreats and anything else not included in your membership are charged separately, on the terms shown when you book.
4.6 Individual arrangements. N0BS may, at its discretion, agree individual membership arrangements with particular members, such as a preferential rate or membership provided in exchange for services. Any such arrangement is confidential between N0BS and that member, and the member must not disclose its terms to other members. An individual arrangement with one member does not entitle any other member to the same or a similar arrangement. The standard fees are those set out in 4.1.
5. Founding members
5.1 Founding members joined N0BS in its first months, and get 25% off their membership fee for their first two years of continuous membership.
5.2 The founding rate recognises that founding members joined early, while the club was being built, and backed it before it was established. We kept it in place for a second year to thank them for that loyalty.
5.3 The founding rate is the full extent of the founding offer. It doesn’t come with any extra inclusions beyond those listed in section 3 for the membership held.
5.4 We’ve committed that no new member will be offered a bigger discount on the same membership than the founding rate.
5.5 The founding rate applies only while membership continues without a break, and ends after two years from the founding member’s start date. After that, the membership renews at the standard price at the time, and we’ll tell you what that is before your renewal.
5.6 If a founding membership is ended under section 8, the founding rate ends with it and isn’t available if you rejoin.
6. Cancellation and refunds
6.1 Cooling-off. If you’re joining as a consumer (for yourself, rather than for a business), you have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of the day after your membership is agreed, for any reason. If you ask us to start your membership during those 14 days and then cancel, we’ll refund what you’ve paid minus a proportionate amount for the membership and any inclusions you’ve used, such as an event attended, a Strategy Day held or a book delivered. To cancel, email hello@n0bs.com with your name and the membership you’re cancelling.
6.2 Annual membership is non-refundable. Once the cooling-off period in 6.1 has ended, annual membership fees are non-refundable, in whole or in part. This applies whatever the reason, including if you stop attending, do not use some or all of the benefits, change your mind or wish to leave before the end of your membership year. Annual fees are offered at a reduced rate on this basis. You may cancel at any time to prevent your membership renewing, and your membership will continue until the end of the year you have paid for.
6.3 Quarterly membership is non-refundable. Quarterly membership has no minimum term. You may cancel at any time before your next quarterly payment, and your membership will end at the end of the quarter you have paid for. Once the cooling-off period in 6.1 has ended, quarterly fees are non-refundable, and no refund is given for any part of a quarter.
6.4 Switching. You can move from quarterly to annual at your next renewal. Moving from annual to quarterly takes effect at the end of your paid year.
6.5 Cancelled events. Section 3.3 sets out what happens when an event is cancelled or rescheduled. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6.6 Misconduct. If your membership ends because of misconduct, section 8 sets out what happens to your fees.
7. Member standards
7.1 N0BS only works if members can trust each other. Being honest, transparent and doing right by each other isn’t a nice-to-have here, it’s the condition of being a member. By joining, you agree to:
- be honest in how you represent yourself, your business and your experience;
- treat members, guests, partners, venues and the N0BS team with respect;
- give as well as take, and treat relationships as relationships rather than a sales pipeline. Business that comes from genuine relationships is welcome; selling at people isn’t;
- respect confidentiality. What’s shared in the room, especially at Decision Rooms, Strategy Days and private dinners, stays in the room unless the person who shared it says otherwise;
- not record, photograph or share other members’ details or contributions without their permission;
- follow venue rules and the reasonable instructions of our team at events;
- not use the member list, Circle or events to harvest contacts, mass-message or prospect members.
7.2 These standards apply at N0BS events, on Circle, in member groups and messages, and in any dealings between members that come about through N0BS, including outside events.
7.3 We’ll publish any more detailed member standards on Circle. If they and these terms ever differ, these terms win.
7.4 Members must keep the terms of any individual membership arrangement confidential, as set out in 4.6. Disclosing them to other members is a breach of these standards.
8. Misconduct, reviews and ending membership
8.1 Gross misconduct includes, but isn’t limited to:
- dishonesty or deception towards members, partners or N0BS, including fraud;
- scheming or colluding with other members against another member, a partner or N0BS;
- extortion, threats, blackmail or using information gained through N0BS as leverage;
- harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation or violence;
- serious breaches of confidentiality;
- misusing members’ personal data or contact details;
- any conduct that seriously damages trust in the club or brings N0BS into disrepute.
8.2 If we believe gross misconduct has happened, we may suspend your membership immediately while we look into it. We’ll tell you what the concern is and give you a chance to respond in writing before we make a final decision. If we decide gross misconduct has happened, your membership ends immediately and no part of your fees will be refunded.
8.3 Other misconduct, such as misrepresenting yourself or your business, persistent self-promotion or prospecting, minor breaches of confidentiality, disrespectful behaviour, or repeatedly ignoring these standards, will lead to a review. We’ll talk it through with you and decide on one of the following: no further action, a written warning, conditions on your membership, suspension, or ending your membership.
8.4 If N0BS ends your membership following a review under 8.3, no part of your fees will be refunded. Membership benefits, including partner offers, access to members and member resources, are available from the start of each term, so fees are not apportioned for any unused period.
8.5 Who decides. We make decisions under this section in good faith, based on what we’ve reasonably been able to establish. Our decision after you’ve had the chance to respond is final. Members who’ve had their membership ended under this section can’t reapply unless we invite them to.
8.6 Ending for other reasons. We may also end your membership if your fees remain unpaid (4.3), or if we close or significantly change the club, in which case we’ll give you reasonable notice and refund any fees paid for the period after your membership ends.
8.7 Nothing in this section limits anyone’s right to report a matter to the police or other authorities.
9. Events, partners and general terms
9.1 Events. Event details, dates, venues and speakers may change. Section 3.3 sets out N0BS’s position on the number of events and on cancellations. Places at limited-capacity events are allocated as described when the event is announced. Tickets for paid events are subject to the terms shown at booking and to 3.3.
9.2 Guests. Non-members may attend one educational and one social event before joining, by invitation and after vetting. Members are responsible for the behaviour of any guest they bring.
9.3 Photography. We photograph and film some events for N0BS’s own channels. If you’d rather not appear, tell us at the event or by email and we’ll respect that.
9.4 Partners. Partner products and services are provided by the partner on its own terms. N0BS isn’t responsible for them, and a recommendation or partnership isn’t a guarantee.
9.5 Not advice. Strategy Days, workshops, introductions and anything said at N0BS events are shared in good faith but aren’t professional, legal, financial or investment advice. Decisions about your business are yours.
9.6 Liability. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you’ve paid in the 12 months before the claim.
9.7 Your data. We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy at https://n0bs.com/privacy-policy.
9.8 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. Changes won’t reduce what’s included in a term you’ve already paid for. We’ll tell you about significant changes at least 30 days before they apply to you, and they’ll apply from your next renewal.
9.9 Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
9.10 Contact. Questions about membership or these terms: hello@n0bs.com.
